The former Irene Christine Dresden was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Hartington and died Saturday [July 14, 1979] at her home after an extended illness. She married Glenn Bergman June 26, 1939, in Hartington. Surviving are her husband; one son, Ronald of Holdrege; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Joann) Hoffart of Coleridge and Carol Bergman of Fremont; seven grandchildren. JULY 1979 THE NORFOLK DAILY NEWS Irene C. Bergman Funeral services for Irene Christine Bergman, 63, of Hartington were held Tuesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Cyril Werner officiated and burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home. Born December 10, 1915, she passed away Saturday, July 14 at her residence in Hartington. She was the daughter of Walter and Wilhelmina Ann (Wohlman) Dresden. She married Glenn Bergman on June 26, 1939 in Hartington. She was a lifetime resident of Hartington. Survivors include her husband of Hartington; one son, Ronald, Holdrege, Nebr.; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Joann) Hoffart, Coleridge, Miss Carol Bergman, Fremont; 7 grandchildren.
