HENRY BERGMAN (PHOTO) Funeral services for P. Henry Bergman, 87, 711 Jones St., who died Tuesday [September 14, 1965] at a hospital after a long illness, will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Philip and James Catholic Church, St. James, Neb. Rev. Thomas DeBacker will officiate. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. The Rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight at the Larkin Funeral Home. Mr. Bergman, a resident of Sioux City for 35 years, was born March 4, 1878, in Cedar County, Neb. He had been employed at Methodist Hospital as a custodian for most of the last 35 years. Survivors include the widow, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Work of Sioux City; two sons, Phillip of Denver, and Joseph of Omaha; a brother, Joseph Bergman of Hartington, Neb., a sister, Mrs. Phillipine Pearson of Chicago; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
