Services were Feb. 22 at Roby Funeral Home Chapel, Plattsmouth, with Elder Ronald Miller officiating. Burial was held at the Rock Bluff Cemetery, Rock Bluff. Pallbearers were Paul Bobenmoyer, Neil Bobenmoyer, Travis Bobenmoyer, Brian Eledge, Chad Eledge and Richard Dreesman. Harold was born March 29, 1915, to William Henry and Grace Belle (Ginther) Bobenmoyer in Roy, Fergus County, Mont. He married Ruth Esther Hull Aug. 1, 1946, in Hiawatha, Kan. He moved as a young child with family to northern Nebraska, Hartington Newcastle-Santee area, farmed, then served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, was married. After being discharged he farmed for seven years moving to Plattsmouth in 1954. He worked for Stander Implement John Deere dealership in Plattsmouth, the City of Plattsmouth, the Burlington BREX Shop, and then for Union Pacific in Omaha, retiring in 1976. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bobenmoyer, Plattsmouth; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Bobenmoyer, Greenwood; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ida and Michael McKay, Glenwood, Iowa, Alice and Ronald Miller, Beaver Lake; and Arlene and George Eledge, Bonne Terre, Mo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; one son, Leonard W. Bobenmoyer; three brothers, Fred, Marion and Alvin Bobenmoyer; and two sisters, Frances Headle and Jessie Dooley.
