Visitation was Aug. 25 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Mass of Christian Burial was Aug. 26 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. William Sanderson officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were Don Dreesen, Matt Dreesen, Scott Dreesen, Dennis Koch, Kevin Brummer, and Michael Dreesen. Honorary pallbearers were Michele, Megan, Molly and Morgan Dreesen, Jonathon Brummer, Stacy Hageman, Kristi Brummer, Casey Koch, Austin Koch, Danny Dreesen, Diane Brummer, Darla Dreesen, Donna Koch, Lori Dreesen and Skylar Dreesen. Minnie was born July 12, 1898, to August and Katherine (Anderson) Petersen, Schaller, Iowa. She married Fred J. Dreesen Dec. 2, 1919, in Sioux City, Iowa. He died Dec. 4, 1972. Minnie moved from Schaller, Iowa, around 1910 to a farm northeast of Hartington. She lived in the Hartington area until moving into town in 1973. She has been a resident of Beverly Healthcare Hartington since 1995. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Duane and Marian Dreesen, Hartington, and Darrell and Colleen Dreesen, Hartington, seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
