Eickhoff HARTINGTON- Arnold F. Eickhoff, 83, died March 12, 2000, at Sister James Nursing Home, Yankton, S.D. Visitation will be March 15, 1-9 p.m., with a 2 p.m. rosary and a vigil service at 7 p.m., all at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Mass of Christian Burial will be March 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. William Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers will be Bob Eickhoff, Keith Eickhoff, Jim Eickhoff, Dave Eickhoff, Roland Eickhoff and Ron Leise. Arnold was born Sept. 6, 1916, to Anton G. and Elizabeth (Mueller) Eickhoff in Hartington. He lived in the Hartington area all of his life where he farmed with his brother, Joe. He moved into Hartington in 1943. Arnold was a resident of Beverly Healthcare Hartington from 1996-1999. In December 1999, he moved to Avera Sister James Nursing Home, Yankton, S.D. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington. Survivors include a brother, Anton H. Eickhoff, Hartington, and a sister, Sister Mary Theresa Eickhoff, Ursuline Sisters, Alton, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Martin and Joseph Eickhoff, four sisters, Elizabeth Eickhoff, Mary Leise, Anna Jueden and Sister Mary Joseph Eickhoff.
