Mr. and Mrs. Frigge were employed at the Martin Hartung farm three miles east of Coleridge. Mrs. Frigge poured kerosene on kindling in the stove which she believed to be out after which it exploded. Her clothing caught fire, but she picked up her 7-month-old child and ran from the house. Her husband and Mr. Hartung who were working in a nearby field, heard her crys and came to her assistance. Mr. Hartung rushed her to the doctor in Laurel while Mr. Frigge extinguished the fire. The Colerdige fire department was called, but the fire was out when they arrived, with but minor damage to the house. Mrs. Frigge was taken from Laurel to St. Joseph's hospital in Sioux City where she later died. Funeral Services Funeral services for Mrs. Frigge were held Monday morning at 9:30 from St. Michael's Catholic church in Coleridge with Rev. Vaclav Kovar officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Charlene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Folk was born at Pleasant Valley July 7, 1929, and grew to womanhood in the Hartington community. She attended school in Hartington and after her school days was employed there. She was married to Clarence Frigge at Coleridge. She is survived by her husand and seven-month-old baby; her father, Clarence Folk of Hartington; and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Prince of South Carolina and Mardella Folk of Hartington.
