Visitation was Aug. 20 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Funeral services were held Aug. 21, at Faith Lutheran Church, Maskell, with Rev. Bruce L. Schut officiating. Burial was in Maskell Cemetery, Maskell. Pallbearers were Pat Guy, Bryan Guy, Mike O'Connor, Aaron O'Connor, Tommy O'Connor and Josh Coffield. Ilith was born Oct. 16, 1925, to Minor and Alta Mae (Thompson) Flom, in Maskell. She married Vernon Guy March 26, 1950, in Maskell. She grew up in the Maskell area and graduated from Maskell High School in 1944. After her marriage, she and Vernon lived in the Wynot area. They moved to Wakefield in 1986. She was a resident of the Wayne Care Center since 1994 She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wakefield. Survivors include her husband, Vernon, Wakefield; four daughters and spouses, Janice and Danny O'Connor, Sturgis, S.D., Jolene Guy, Omaha; Karen Guy, Norfolk; Mary and Mark Middleton, Norfolk; a son and wife, Louis and Louise Guy, Hartington; 11 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
