Halle YANKTON, S.D.- Evelyn E. Halle, 86, Yankton, S.D. died Nov. 29, 1999, at her home. Services were Dec. 3 at the Ray-Lane Funeral Chapel, Yankton, with Jason Rule officiating. Burial was in the Aten Cemetery, South Yankton. Pallbearers were Berlyn Halle, Jason Halle, Kary Halle, Todd Halle, Vaughn Halle and Harvey Hansen. Evelyn was born June 17, 1913, to Hans and Belle (Seddon) Hansen in South Yankton. She grew up and attended school in Aten and high school at Yankton, graduating from the high school in Winner, S.D. She married Herbert Halle August 27, 1936, at Pierce. They moved and farmed near St. Helena. They were married for 53 years. She moved into Yankton in the fall of 1996. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include her sons and spouses, Kent and Mary Halle, Duncan, Ariz.; Kary and Millie Halle, St. Helena; Todd and LeAnn Halle, Bee; Berlyn Halle, St. Helena; and Vaughn Halle, Yankton, S.D.; daughters and spouses, Kay and Allen Bush, Liberty, S.C.; Karen and Richard Wadleigh, Mt. Vernon, S.D.; Karma and Herbert Devin, Independence, Mo.; Linda and Ernesto Irahola, Oruro, Bolivia; Jane Halle, Yankton, S.D.; and Judy Halle, Lincoln; 21 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; brothers, Harvey Hansen, Yankton, S.D.; and Joy Hansen, Chicago, Ill.; and one sister, Bernice Hansen, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Keith and Karlan; brothers, Orion and Irving Hansen; and a grandson, Joseph Halle.
