Hirschman HARTINGTON- Allan A, Hirschman, 91, died Oct. 24, 1998 at Hillcrest Care Center, Laurel. Services were Oct. 26, 1998 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. William Sanderson officiating. Burial was at St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were Darrell Dreesen, Dave Colling, LaVern Brockman, Ray Puntney, Gerry Wiedenfeld and Bill Hahn. Allan was born August 7, 1907, to Albert M. and Christine (Bergman) Hirschman in Hartington. He married Blanche I Lee Sept. 18, 1928, in St Helena. She died March 1, 1996. Allan grew up in Hartington and graduated from Holy Trinity High School. He attended Trinity College in Sioux City, Iowa. After his marriage, Allan and Blanche moved to a farm where they remained until their retirement. Survivors include, one daughter and her husband, Joan and Ernie Jueden, Hartington; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
