She had been ill since April and seriously ill a week. Funeral services were held Monday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic church. Msgr. B.H. Lordemann officiated at the requiem mass. Burial was in St. Michael's cemetery under the direction of the Wintz Mortuary. Pallbearers were Dallas Leader, F.J. Peitz, Edgar and Fredolin Bruening, Harold Dendinger and Jerome Schulte. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Mike Schwartz, Mrs. Joe Leise, Mrs. Casper Reuter, Mrs. Francis Feelhaver and Mrs. Julius Kramer. Mrs. Hirschman is survived by a son, Allan of Hartingon; two brothers, Joe Bergman of Hartington and Henry Bergman of Sioux City and a sister, Mrs. Phillipine Pearson of Newcastle. Mrs. Hirschman was born October 26, 1873, at Brookey's Bottom, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Bergman. She was married January 17, 1892, to Albert Hirschman at Holy Trinity church here. They lived on a farm then moved to Hartington. Mr. Hirschman died in Hartington November 7, 1954. JANUARY 1958 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
