Rev. Patrick Carroll officiated at the requiem mass, and burial was in St. Michael's cemetery at Hartington under the direction of Wintz Mortuary. Pallbearers were B.L. Friess, A.B. Chederquist, Jack Paulson, Isodore Sudbeck, Allan Hirschman and Tony Neuhalfen. Mrs. Hirschman is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Lessman of St. Johns, Newfoundland, and Mrs. Marvin Schaer of Laurel; three sons, Claire and James of Laurel, and Robert in the army at Ft. Sill, Okla., her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Hoeffer of Jackson, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. C.W. Coonrod of Jackson, Minn., and Mrs. Ray Williamson of Bancroft, Ia. The daughter of John and Ellen McFadden, Mary G. McFadden was born at Coleridge October 26, 1905. She was married in Coleridge January 19, 1926 to Earl Hirschman. They lived in the East Bow community for a number of years and then moved to a farm northeast of Laurel. Mrs. Hirschman was a graduate of Holy Trinity high school in Hartington.
