Lindemann PENDER- Helen L. Lindemann, 79, Pender, died Oct. 1, 1998, at the Pender Care Centre, Pender. Funeral Services were Oct. 5 at the Munderloh Funeral Home, Pender, with Rev. Susan Banholzer officiating. Burial will be in the Hartington City Cemetery, Hartington, at a later date. Helen was born in Hartington Dec. 18, 1918, to George and Louise (Feldman) Lindemann. After Graduating from Hartington High School in 1937, she moved to Los Angeles, Calif., with her sister where she attended and graduated from Woodbury Business College in 1941. In 1942 she moved to Tacoma, Wash., with her sister, Edna and worked with the American Red Cross during WW11. She moved to Pender in 1957 and was employed by the Dept. of Social Services until she retired in 1982. She is survived by brothers, Lawrence Lindemann, Hartington, and Marvin Lindemann, Sun City, Calif.; and sisters, Martha Larson, Escondido, Calif.; and Lillian Smith, Hartington; nine nieces and eight nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward and Leonard Lindemann; two sisters, Edna Vierk and Marion Walsh; and one neice. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1998 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
