Love CROFTON- Larry J. Love, 57, Crofton died Oct. 16, 1999, at Veterans Hospital, Grand Island, after a lengthy illness. Visitation was Oct. 18 at Wintz funeral Horne, Crofton. Mass of Christian Burial was Oct. 19 at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church, Crofton, With Rev. Bob English officiating. Burial was held at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Crofton. Military services were conducted by the Crofton American Legion Post # 128. Pallbearers were Don Hofmaier, Edwin Kleinschmit, Larry Promes, Scott Kuehn, Jim Hardy (Steffen) and Steve Wieseler. Larry was born Oct. 1, 1942, to Kenneth D. and Rita Marie (Lammers) Love in Crofton. He grew up in Crofton and graduated from Crofton High School in 1960. He graduated from Norfolk Junior College in 1962, and attended Kearney State College. He was in the Marine Corps Reserves for seven years. For several years, he was employed by the Nebraska Dept. of Roads in Hartington and Omaha, and was a bridge engineer for several years for Lancaster County. For the past five years he has been employed by Welfl Construction, Yankton, S.D. as an engineer. He was a member of the Moose Club, Lincoln. His hobbies included target shooting and fishing. Survivors include a special friend, Joyce Falk, Crofton; one sister, Janet Steinauer, Omaha; two brothers and spouses, Roger and Marilyn Love, Norfolk, and Bob and Barbara Love, Parkston, S.D.; four nieces and four nephews.
