Services were Feb. 4 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, South Sioux City, with the Rev. Ross Burkhalter officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery. Mrs. Marron was born April 13, 1919, to Benjamin and Lucy (Puth) Weber in Waterbury. She graduated from Waterbury High School. She married James Marron Oct. 12, 1950, in Waterbury. The couple farmed near Emerson and Dakota City until 1970, when thev moved to South Sioux City. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar Society and Legion of Mary. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Kathy, Grand Island; a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Howard Rasmussen, Hubbard; and grandchildren, Josh and Mackenzie Marron.
