McDonald, 75 a former resident of Wynot, died February 12, at Los Angeles, Calif., after several months of illness of heart trouble. Services were held at Huntington Park, February 16, with burial in Inglewood Park cemetery. Pallbearers were old friends of the family including F.A. Thorpe of Auburn, WA, and Francis Bonertz of Los Angeles, both former residents of Wynot. Both Mr. and Mrs. Thorpe attended the funeral. Mr. McDonald was born in Iowa March 12, 1877. he married Ida Morris May 30, 1900. He was a railroad man most of his life. In the days when Wynot had a railroad, he was a brakeman on this branch of the C St. P. M and O.from about 1930 to about 1931. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Wilma Lucore of Huntington Park, Calif., Russell McDonald of Medfored, Ore, Mrs. Audrea Pettengil of Cherokee, IA., Courland McDonald of Medford, Ore., Mrs. Algeny Tutty of Ephrata, Wash., one daughter Mrs. Mary Montgomery died five years ago. There is also one brother, L.c. McDonald, Palm Springs, Calif., and one sister, Maude, of Des Moines, IA.
