McKenzie, 81, died at her home near Dallas, S.D., Wednesday, July 12. Funeral services were held Sunday from the Methodist church in Dallas, with Rev. Holman Cowherd in charge. Her son-in-law, Rev F.J. Aucock preached the funeral sermon. A short service was held Saturday from the funeral home in Gregory for the benefit of Mr. McKenzie, who was unable to attend the funeral. Burial was made in the Dallas cemetery with Gateway chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in charge of the graveside service. Pallbearers were the grandsons. Lucy Adeline Dickinson was born April 18, 1869, at Elk POint, S.D. At an early age she came with her parents to St. James where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Frank E. McKenzie September 25, 1889. They made their home at St. James for 15 years and then moved to Spencer. In 1912, they moved to Dallas, S.D. Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1939 and last year they observed their 60th anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Frank; two daughters, Mrs. F.J. Aucock of Giltner and Mrs. A.A. Remmele of Winner, S.D.; three sons, Homer E. and William L. of Dallas and Frank E. junior of Winner, S.D.; one brother, Dr. L.W. Dickinson of Ravenna; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Dawson of Vermillion, and Mrs. Mattie Smith of Randolph; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grand- children. Mrs. Mattie Smith, Mrs. Ecle Henderson and daugther, Evelyn, of Randolph attended the funeral.
