FRANK MEIROSE IS BURIED AT FORDYCE. FUNERAL SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY FOR 75 YEAR OLD RESIDENT. FORDYCE: Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic church here Monday morning for Frank Meirose, 75, long time resident of Cedar County who died in Sacred Heart hospital in Yankton December 12. He had suffered a stroke three days earlier. Rev. Peter Vanderlaan officiated at the requiem mass and burial was in the Fordyce cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Meirose, Frank Meirose, Casper Meirose, William Schnieders, Hugo Schnieders, and Frank Buschelman. Mr. Meirose is survived by two sons, Franz of Fordyce and Matt of California, and three daughters, Theresia of Fordyce, Rose of Coleridge and Blanche of California. Mrs. Meirose died in 1909 at Coal Springs, S.D. Mr. Meirose was born in the Bow Valley community in 1869. He was married in June 1894 at Bow Valley to Miss Anna Bonertz. He was the youngest and the last member of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Meirose.
