HARTINGTON HERALD - DEC. 4, 1913

Mrs. Dora Michels died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Kate, in 
this city aged 78 years. The funeral was held this morning at the 
Catholic church and the body was interred in the cemetery at this city.  
The funeral was attended by the members of the Christian Mothers 
Society of which she was a member. She leaves a son Mike and five 
daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Arnett, Mrs. Jesse Miller, Mrs. Irwin 
Patrick, and Miss Kate Michels all of this county.  Another daughter 
lives in the west and a son has not been heard from since the earthquake 
in San Francisco, where he was at that time.
