Nelson (PHOTO) HARTINGTON - Ivah M. Nelson, 89, died March 29, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare Hartington. Visitation was March 30 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Services were March 31 at Rosehill Evangelical Free Church, Rural Newman Grove, with Rev. Clifford Branson officaiting. Burial was in the Rosehill Cemetery, Newman Grove. Pallbearers were Roger Lee, Myron J. Nelson, Eugene Nelson, Paul Cederlind, Marlin Cederlind and Jerry Hanke. Ivah was born Feb. 16, 1912, to Joseph F. and Charlotte Bell (Otis) Rinaker in Loup County. On Aug. 20, 1930, she married Carl J. Nelson in Madison. He died Jan. 18, 1990. Ivah lived in the Loup County area until 1927 then lived in the Madison area until 1930. She lived in the Newman Grove area until moving to Wynot in 1936. She and Carl moved into Hartington in 1984. Ivah has been a resident of the Beverly Healthcare Hartington since Sept. 8, 1988. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartington and was baptized Jan. 17, 1990. Survivors include: two nieces: Irene Lee, Petersburg; Margaret Wyman, Fremont; two nephews; Edgar Rinaker, Fremont and Alvin Rinaker, Florida; a cousin: Eva Nelson, Norfolk; a second cousin and spouse; Eugene T. and Lorraine D. Nelson, Norfolk; and several second cousins and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Dell and Joseph Frank Rinaker; two nephwews, Maynard Cederlind and Allen Rinaker.
