Noecker (photo) HARTINGTON - Eleanor E. Noecker, 94, died Oct. 15, 1998 at her residence in Hartington. Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 18, 1998, at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Funeral Services were held Oct. 19, 1998, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. Stan Schmidt officiating. Burial was in St. Michaels Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were David Hedberg, Don Noecker, Gary Feilmeier, Logan Noecker, Brian J. Noecker, and Kevin Harm. Honorary pallbearers were the former Holy Trinity Cafeteria Employees. Eleanor was born Sept. 19, 1904, to John and Anna (Bruening) Kathol in Bow Valley. On Nov. 21, 1922, she married Anton J. Noecker in Bow Valley. He died March 30, 1963. She grew up in the Bow Valley area and continued to live there after her marriage, where she and her husband farmed until they moved to Hartington in 1941. Eleanor began working for the Holy Trinity High School Cafeteria in 1964. She worked there for approximately 20 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include: seven children and their spouses, Leora Hedberg, Rockford, Ill.; Marvin and Teresa Noecker, Hartington; Doris Folkers, Hartington; Leon and Lorna Noecker, Garden Grave, Iowa; Rosemary Feilmeier, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; Delores and Bob Lammers, Randolph; and Larry and Carol Noecker, Crofton; 30 grandchildren, 64 great- grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
