Anne M. Oien

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.- Anne M. Oien, 71, Walnut Creek, Calif., died at 
her home May 4, 2000, of cancer.

Anne Marie was born May 16, 1928, to Chris and Julia (Johnson) 
Ericksen on a farm in northeast Cedar County near Hartington.  Anne was 
a 1944 graduate of Hartington High School.

Survivors include her husband, Kaare Oien; two daughters, Kerry Oien 
and Nancie Oien; two sisters, Elna Winkelman and Esther Rosager; three 
nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joe Heimes; 
and her brother, Alfred Ericksen.
