Olsen, 74, who died at her home in the Paragon community were held this afternoon (Thursday) from the Paragon Lutheran church at 2 o'clock with Rev. O.L. Levorson officiating. Burial was made in Paragon cemetery under the direction of the Jones-Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Herbert Bottolfson, Kenneth Bottolson, Martin Bottolfson, Floyd Olsen, Carl Schager and William Olsen. Caroline Ottilia, daughter of Martin and Mary Bottolfson was born in the Paragon community June 23, 1875. She continued to make her home in that community all of her life. She was married to Julius M. Olsen at Paragon by Rev. Tvedt April 26, 1899. She was a member of the Paragon Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Maurice of Norfolk, Harvey of Bellflower, Calif., and Carl of Creighton; and a daughter, Helen, of Hartington; one brother, Magnus Bottolfson of Hartington; and seven grandchildren. 1949 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
