(Dooley) Olsen, 101, died June 16, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare, Hartington. Visitation was June 18 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Mass of Christian Burial was June 19 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. John Andrews officiating. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hartington. Pallbearers were Jim Dooley, Gary Dooley, Dave Dooley, Jeremy Kneifl, Brian Curry and Bill Hochstein. Mary was born Sept. 17, 1899, to John and Elizabeth (Earnster) Miller in Hartington. She married William Dooley Jan. 1, 1919, in Hartington. He died July 2, 1961. She married John Olsen Nov. 10, 1962, in Hartington. He died Jan. 6, 1993. Mary grew up in Hartington and attended Grand Island Business College. She lived in the Hartington area all of her life. She worked at Bob's Cafe and several other cafes in Hartington as a cook. She loved playing cards and quilting. Survivors include a son, Oliver Dooley, Austin, Texas; a daughter, Bernadette Curry, Englewood, Colo.; three step-sons, Dewayne Olsen, South Sioux City; Mike Olsen, Hartington; Dallas Olsen, San Gabriel, Calif.; three step-daughters and spouse: Shirley Haberer, Morris, Minn.; Donna Rae Riibe, South Sioux City; Phyllis and Curt Mathiason, Hartingon; a daughter-in law, Delores Dooley, Hartington; 13 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, 23 step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William and JOhn; two sons, Lee and Al Dooley; four sisters, Ann Eggers, Lou Culber, Veronica Delong and Rose Hisch; three brothers, Orville, Alfred and John Miller; one granddaughter, Debbie Dooley; and two step-sons, Robert and Dean Olsen.
