This file was contributed for use in the NEGenWeb Archives by Carol Tramp Permission granted by: Rob Dump, Editor, Cedar County News ====================================================================== CEDAR COUNTY NEWS DEC. 18, 1952 FRANK ROACH DIES FRIDAY Funeral Wednesday at Coleridge Church Coleridge -- Funeral services for Frank W Roach, 67, who died December 12 at the Tri-State Nursing Home following a heart attack, were held from the Congregational Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. William Wilson officiating. Burial was made in the Coleridge cemetery under the direction of the Mohr funeral home. Pallbearers were Albert Stone, Marion Hayne, Hans Jorgensen, Harold Boucher, William Fink, and Leo Lyden. Frank, son of Henry and Jane Roach, was born August 2, 1885 at Harlan, IA., He came to Coleridge at an early age and most of his life was spent there except for a year in South Dakota. He was married to Ida Truhlar at Hartington, October 6, 1909. Mrs. Roach died in Coleridge, January 3, 1941. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Irene Jerome, two brothers, Ernest Roach of Yukon, Okla., and Harry Roach of Cypress, Calif., three grandchildren, Billy, Joyce and Lila Jerome, and six nephews and nieces.
