Henry “Bob” Schaeger

Former Resident dies in California

Henry “Bob”Schaeger, 67, former Cedar county resident died at his home 
in Redlands, CA. Tuesday night following a heart attack. The Schaegers 
left here about 25 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Saturday in Redlands and burial will be 
at Montecito.

Mr. Schaeger, born on a farm north of Hartington, is survived by his 
wife, Mabel Samelson, two daughters, Mrs. George “Gladys” Janssen of 
Salem, OR., and Mrs. Ray “Norma” Gallup of Redlands; one son, Duane, of 
Redlands; his father Gilbert Schaeger, of Redlands and two brothers, 
Fred of Barstow, CA., and William of Redlands. One son Charles preceded 
him in death.
