PAUL; FUNERAL IN WYNOT Wynot - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bethany Lutheran Church for Harry Schaller, 66, former Wynot resident and businessman who died February 20, at St. Paul, Minn., where he had lived for about a year. Rev. C.M. Grindland officiated at the service. Two duets were sung by Mrs. Esther Stolpe and Mrs. Burdette Anfinsen of Obert with Mrs. Wilbur Anderson of Obert at the piano. Pallbearers were Carl Klanderud, Victor Nelson, Lloyd Jones, George Bowder, Dr. G.H. Schulte and Chris Thompson. Burial was in the Bow Valley cemetery at Wynot under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Harry Schaller was born August 18, 1885 near St. Helena, the son of Fritz and Hannah Schaller, early settlers of this community. His early life was spent in this community. He was engaged in the lumber and elevator business here for many years. In 1924 he became manager of St. Anthony and Dakota Lumber company in Wynot which position he held until the fall of 1933 when he went to Walker, Ia to become engaged in the same business, he also was in North Dakota for several years and about one year ago he moved to St. paul, Minn., where he was in the home office. He as married October 26, 1908, to Hanna Beyschua who passed away September 8, 1931 at their home in Wynot. June 19, 1934 he was married to Mauree Leamons of Monowi, who survives him. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harriet McDonald of Southgate, Calif, and two brothers, William P. Schaller of Wynot and Edgar Schaller of Tucson, Ariz., and two grandhchildren, Barbara and Claudette McDonald of South Gate, Calif. Many relatives and friends from a distance and also from surrounding towns filled the church for the services. Some of the names available are; Mrs. Hannah Brown, an aunt of Mr. Schaller, of Yankton, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brown also of Yankton, Mr. and Mrs. Leamons of Monowi, Jesse Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Thompson of Gayville, Albert Smith of Yankton, Mr. and Mrs. Chas Mille of Wayne, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bremer of Laurel, Mrs. Lewis Henderickson and Genevieve Henderickson of Wausa, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Cooper and Roy Bivins of Ponca, Ed McClusky of Newcastle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morrison of Yankton, Mr. and Mrs. C.K. Cady of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Case of Hartington and Fritz Schlund of Obert.
