Schnieders Held Tuesday From Bow Valley Church Funeral services for John C. Schnieders, 78, who died at his home Sunday after a six weeks illness, were held Tuesday morning at 8:30 from Ss. Peter and Paul church in Bow Valley with Rev. A.S. Kluthe officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of Wintz Mortuary. Pallbearers were: Rudolf Wesseln, JOhn Rolfes, Fred Lammers, John Lammers, Albert Wieseler and William Rolfes. John, son of William and Elizabeth SChnieders, was born near Hartington March 4, 1872, and his entire life was spent on the place of his birth. He was married June 12, 1901 to Barbara Bonertz at St. Helena. Mrs. Schnieders died July 17, 1948. His entire life was spent in farming. He was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul parish at Bow Valley and a member of the Holy Name Society. He is survived by the following children, William, Mallard, Is., Mrs. Irene Collings, North Platte, Mrs. Lawrence (Julianna) Weinandt, North Platte, Edward of Hartington, Mollie of Hartington, Mrs. Hubert (Adaline) Fischer of Sioux City, Ralph of Rolfes, Ia., Lester J. of Rolfes, Ia., Clair of North Platte and Paul and Donald of Hartington, and two sisters, Mrs. August Cohman of Hartington and Mrs. Mary Rolfes of Hartington.
