Funeral services were held Jan. 16th. Requiem mass was said at Lady of Loretta church and interment was in Calvary cemetery in Los Angeles. Miss Scholl had been in poor health for some time and lately had suffered two heart attacks. Elizabeth Alvina Scholl was born Feb. 18, 1888 at St. Helena, the daughter of Fredrick and Elizabeth Muerer Scholl. Most of her life was spent in this community where she made her home with her uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Bonertz. She was active in business circles and church work. She was associated with the First National Bank of Wynot for many years and later with the Fordyce bank for several years. She was also the first secretary- treasurer member of the Board of Directors of the Wynot Cooperative Credit Association when it opened here in January 1935 and held that position for two years. Then in 1935 she left here and went to Los Angeles where she had since made her home again with Mr. Bonertz who had moved there and with his daughter and son-in-law, MR. and Mrs. Jack Sell, the former Arlie Bonertz. Due to poor health Miss Schell had retired from Active business. She is survived by brothers and sisters. Including George Scholl of Stockton, CA., and Mrs. Grace Viles of Crofton, besides her uncle and cousin with whom she made her home, and by other relatives. A sister Mrs. Joe (Mary) Duman of near Gettysburg, SD died last September.
