Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 from the St. Helena Church and interment will be made at the Fordyce cemetery. Mr. Stratman is survived by three sons, Albert, Norbert and Ignatius, all at home, two brothers, Anton of Wynot and Albion of Wessington Springs, SD., and three sisters, Mrs. Jake Frend, of Phillip, Mrs. George Weisner of Dimmock, SD., and Mrs. Mike Koch of Fordyce. His mother, Mrs. Mary Stratman lives in Wynot. His wife died 10 years ago while the family were living five miles northwest of Fordyce. Mr. Stratman was born on November the fifth in 1886 at St. Helena and married Miss Sophia Cook at Fordyce. Eighteen years ago he homesteaded at Phillip, SD., where the family lived for five years, later returning to Cedar county. Out of town relatives who will attend the funeral services include all the brothers and sisters.
