Mass of Christian Burial was July 17 at Mount St. Joseph Chapel, Maple Mount. Burial was in the convent cemetery. The Hartington native was an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph and was in her 65th year of religious life. She taught at schools in Earlington, Radcliff, Madisonville, Fredericktown and Louisville, Ky., and had been principal of Immaculate Conception School in Hawesville, Ky. Survivors include two brothers, Cyril Uhing, Blair, and Hubert Uhing, Hartington; a sister, Julia Leise, Hartington; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Anna Uhing; one brother, Edmund; and a nephew, Harold.
