Services were held today, Wednesday at 10 am at the Wintz Funeral Chapel in Hartington. Pastor W.H. Lindquist officiated. Burial was in the Wynot City Cemetery. Mrs. Warner, the former Mae Ann Smith, was born December 24, 1881 in Elk Point, SD. She was married November 6, 1901 in Ponca. He died May, 1952. She had lived in Wynot since 1940. She was a member of the Lutheran's Ladies Aid. Survivors include nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers were Merle Wohlman, Wilfred Sorenson, William Bevelhymer, Willard Gregg, DeRoy Gregg and Donald Nelson. Mae Warner traveled with the local doctor for years and helped as a midwife deliver many of the babies in the area. NOVEMBER 1977 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
