Willcox, 66, who died at her home here Sunday [3/26/1950] after being critically ill for three months were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Trinity Lutheran church with Rev. H. Niederwimmer of colerdige in charge. Burial was made in the Hartington cemetery under the direction of Jones-Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers were: Ed Dendinger, Chas. McFadden, Erl Elliott, Thomas Steffen, William Jaeger, and Herschel Forinash. Theresa, daughter of Anthony Wohlman and Mary Wiggins, was born December 30, 1883 at East Bow near Hartington. All of her life was spent in this community except three years near Coleridge from 1905-1908. She was married to Vurney J. Willcox at Hartington January 1, 1905. She is survied by her husband; a son Brant at home; a daughter Mildred Dickes of Hartington; four sisters, Mrs. Lulu Lill, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. George (Frances) Kemp of British Columbia, Canada, Mrs. Walter (Minnie) Dresden of Hartington, and Mrs. Stena Hirschman of St. Louis; three brothers, Joe L. Wohlman of Coleridge and Stephen A. and Henry E. Wohlman of Hartington. Those from a distance who came to attend the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. Vurney Copple, Mr. and Mrs. Gomer Lenton and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Broderson of Randolph; Mr. Louis Eby, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rose of Wakefield; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hintz, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Puntney and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Heitman of Belden; Mr. Clarence Vock and Joe Wohlman of Colerdige; and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rose and Earl Tague of Sioux City.
