FRED WILLIAMS IN WYNOT SUNDAY Wynot - Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Williams, 70, Cedar county pioneer, were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist Chuch here. Rev. Rhyman officiated. Mrs. Williams died at a Yankton Hospital May 16, on her 70th birthday. She had been ill several months. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband; a foster son Dean; one sister, Mrs. Joe Brown of Glasgow, Mont., and two brothers, John Ritter of Lincoln and Charles Ritter of Sioux City. They were present for the funeral. Katherine Marie Ritter was born in Sac county, Iowa, May 16, 1886. She came to Cedar County at the age of one. She was married to Fred Williams in Hartington April 18, 1911. Mrs. Williams lived in this vicinity most of her life. Burial was in the Wynot cemetery under the direction of the Wintz Mortuary. Pallbearers were six nephews, Jay Williams, Bobbie Williams, Millard Thompson, Bill Thomason, Rex Ritter and Buck Lindstrom. Many other relatives and friends from this area, Vermillion and Yankton and Iowa attended the funeral.
