JOE WOHLMAN DIES IN WASHINGTON ---------- Funeral Services Will Be at Lutheran Church Here Friday ---------- Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran church here tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for Mrs. Joe Wohlman, 61, longtime Cedar county resident, who died June 13 [1943] at Tacoma, Wash. Death was caused by a heart attack. Rev. O.J. Engh of Maskell will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Hartington cemetery under supervision of Jones Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be John Marx, Andrew Haahr, Clarence Foulk, Oscar Olson, Willards Larsen and James Hansen. Mrs. Wohlman is survived by her widower; four sons, Lewis of Enumclow, Wash., Fred of Hartington, Vern of Wynot and Eddie of Austin, Minn., and two daughters, Mrs. Adolph Brodersen of Hartington and Mrs. J.E. Jensen of Tacocma, Wash. She also leaves three brothers, Elmer Miller of Ogden, Utah, Fred Miller of Obert, and Henry Miller of Hartington, and two sisters, Mrs. S.J. Munson of Obert, and Mrs. Truman Peck of Hartington. Anna Miller Wohlman was born in Germany September 10, 1881 and came to America when she was two years old. She lived at O'Neill, Nebr., for some time and then came to Cedar county. She was married to Mr. Wohlman at Hartington in 1901. The Wohlmans farmed in the Hartington and Wynot communities for many years until last October, when they moved to Tacoma, Wash. JUNE 1943 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
