MARY WOHLMAN PASSED AWAY SUNDAY AT HOME OF MRS. F.J. HIRSCHMAN ---------- Mrs. Mary Wohlman, a resident of Cedar county for 46 years, passed away last Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F.J. Hirschman, with whom she had been making her home for the past few months. Mrs. Wohlmann had been in poor health for several months, so her death was not unexpected. Mary Habauick Wigins was born June 19, 1858 at Highland Prarie, Mo. Following the death of her parents she came, with her uncle John Wigins, to Cedar county in 1874, and two years later was married at St. Helena to Anton Wohlman, poineer settler who died about two years ago. For a number of years they occupied a large farm east of Hartington. Mrs. Wohlman is survived by three sons, Joe, Stephen, and Henry, all residing near town; Mrs. John Lill, St. Louis; Mrs. George Kemp, of Humbolt, Can., Mrs. Vern Wilcox, Mrs. Julia Puntney, and Mrs. Walter Dresden, of east of town and Mrs. F.J. Hirschman, of Hartington. The funeral was held from Holy Trinity church Tuesday morning, interment being made in the Calvary cemetery. 11 NOVEMBER 1920 CEDAR COUNTY NEWS
