The funeral service was Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at the New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson with Pastor Cathy Allen officiating.  Interment was at the Clarkson National Cemetery.   Visitation was Monday, Dec. 21 at the Miller Funeral Home and Tuesday at the church.  M. Eloise Odvarka was born July 20, 1921, in Enterprise, Md., to Guerney and Helen (Yohn) Stuller.  She graduated from Mt. Airy High School in Maryland and was united in marriage to Morris Odvarka on Aug. 14, 1944, at Fort Benning, Ga.  While Morris was overseas during World War II, Eloise lived with her family in Maryland.  After Morris was honorably discharged from the United States Army, the couple were reunited and settled in Lincoln until the mid 1950s when they moved to Clarkson. Eloise was an active member of the Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, worked in the church library and was a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Group.  Eloise is survived by her husband, Morris Odvarka of Clarkson; daughter, Sharon (Larry) Steinberger of Lexington; son, Glen (Camila “Pat”) Odvarka of North Platte; five grandchildren and one step-grandson. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, Guerney and Helen Stuller, and her brother, Richard Stuller.
