Rev Joseph Kaup officiated. Burial was at St Boniface cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Joseph, Charles and Emil Franzluebbers, Leo Grovijohn, Gilbert Spenner and Edmund Kluthe. George John Franzluebbers, son of Joseph and Josephine Franzluebbers, was born Febr 9, 1884, at Delbrick, Westphalen, Germany. He received his education in Germany coming to the United States on Mar 11, 1911, and settling in Minnesota. A year later he moved to Nebraska and had been a retired farmer the last five years. On May 8, 1918, he was married to Miss Frances Ortmeier at St Boniface church and to this union were born eleven children. Mr Franzluebbers was a member of St Boniface church, Holy Name Society and Catholic Order of Foresters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy,one brother, Henry, and one sister,Annaof Germany. Survivors include his wife: three sons, Herman and Bernard of Dodge, and John of West Point, seven daughters, Josephine, Mrs. Rudy Kampschneider, Caroline, Mrs. Clarence Kampschneider of Howells, Clara, Sister M Georgianna OSF of Albuquerque, N M., Sister M Frances OSF of Colorado Springs and Catherine, Anna Marie and Rose Mary at home. Friends and relatives attended the services from West Point, Dodge, Howells, Snyder, Beemer, Wisner, Hooper, Columbus, Battle Creek and Minnesota.
