Stalp Funeral Home - West Point, NE - 1980
Funeral services for Frances Franzluebbers 84, a lifetime West Point resident, 
were Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church at Monterey. The Rev Edward Ourada 
officiated, with concelebrants Fr. Joseph Kaup, Fr. John Beacom, Fr. Thomas 
DeBacker, Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier and Fr. Dennis Stolinski. Mass servers were 
Patrick Steffensmeier, Duane Franzluebbers, Donald Franzluebbers and Joseph 
Kampschneider. 
Serving as pallbearers were Allan, David and James Franzluebbers, Paul and 
Loren Kampschneider and Ronald Gentrup. The daughter of Herman & Clara 
Ortmeier, she was born 10 May 1895 at West Point and died 18 Mar 1980 at St. 
Frances Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Educated in Cuming County 
rural schools, she married George Franzluebbers 8 May 1918 at Monterey. He 
died in 1957. She was a member of St. Boniface Church, its' altar society and 
Christian mothers. 
Survivors include two sons, Herman & Bernard both of Dodge, seven daughters, 
Rosemary of West Point, Josephine, Caroline, Ann Marie of Howells, Catherine 
of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Sr. Georgiana of Denver, CO and Sr. Frances of Zuni, 
N. M. six sisters, Mrs. Mary Ulrich, Mrs. Ann Herrmann, Mrs. Clara Wanned of 
West Point, Theresa Huhman of Columbus, Ida Peatrowsky and Verna Schneieder of 
Fr. Collins, CO, one brother John Ortmeier of Oakland; 48 grandchildren and 
nine great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three 
sisters, three brothers, two sons and one grandson.
