St. Anthony Church, St. Charles, Ne Death records- Ortmeier Heritage Book 2010
Herman Ortmeier, son of Ferdinand and Anna Maria Luening Ortmeier, was born 
May 25, 1868 in Bentler Westphalia, Germany. he came to America with his 
parents in 1884. On January 9, 1894, he married Clara Maly. Clara Maly, 
daughter of John and Franciscka Skala Maly was born August 6, 1876 in St. 
Charles township, Nebraska. Herman passed away July 21, 1926 and is buried at 
St. Boniface Church Cemetery in Monterey.
they had 14 children
Frances, Mary, Caroline, Catherine, Anna Theresa, Clara, Theresa, Wenzel, Ida, 
Herman, John, Fritz, Veronica, Hermina
