ELK CREEK CEMETERY, Custer County, Nebraska This is a public cemetery and is accessible from the road. From Ansley, Custer County, Nebraska travel on Hwy 183, south, for 11 miles. At the gravel road (there is a sign here announcing the turn off to Cumro) turn and go 3/4 of a mile east. This cemetery is fenced in and has a large archway over the gate leading inside. The name Elk Creek Cemetery is written across the top of the arch.
