ENON CEMETERY, Custer County, Nebraska

This cemetery is located just south of Ansley, Custer County, Nebraska and
is also know as the Amsberry or Algernon Cemetery. The former town of Algernon
was located northeast from this cemetery.  It is not located on any maps and is
not accessible from the road.  This list of tombstone inscriptions was done in
the late 1960's.

(large monument has cross with a woman in long robe clinging to cross and
word "Love" above, word "Truth" to right side and word "Life" to left side of cross)

(Lucy (Greenlee)Elison, widow of Howard Elison, was born May 14, 1878, died Oct.12, 1962.
She is buried in Broken Bow cemetery - by her daughter Fern's decision due to a
lack of upkeep on this cemetery)
