The family has honored Dorothy’s wishes that her body be cremated. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Callaway with Fred Werkmeister, PMA officiating. Private family inurnment will be prior to the service. Dorothy was born Feb. 11, 1925, at Glasgow, Scotland, to John and Ethel Wallace. She married a Yankee soldier named Henry Miller in July of 1945 in Scotland. Henry and Dorothy purchased a farm and ranch south of Callaway, where they raised their four children. Dorothy is left to mourn her children, Brian (Sheryl) Miller of Johnson Lake, Elaine (Bob) Lynch of Lexington, Dorothy (Gary) Wall of Holdrege, Glen (Teri) Miller of Callaway; her two brothers, Maurice and Eric Wallace, who live in Scotland; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
