Christian Wake Services will be held Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Callaway. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 7 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Callaway, with the Rev. Todd Philipsen, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway. Survivors include: one daughter: Marcella Swearingen of El Paso, Texas; two sons: Richard (Nancy) of Callaway and Ronald (Debra) of Kearney; two daughters- in-law, Jaynanne Ridder of Lake Barrington, Ill. and Barb Ridder of Lincoln; one sister-in-law, Irene Snyder of Callaway; 16 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvis in 1997; three daughters, Helen, Elaine and Carolyn; two sons, Harold and Charles; two granddaughters, Therese and Joan; three brothers, Claude, Charles and Wayne; one sister, Gladys Weaver; daughter-in-law Frances Ridder; and sister-in-law Helen Snyder. She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in rural Kirksville, Mo. to Lee and Ada (Keller) Snyder. The family moved to Cozad, about 1914. Lucille attended school in Cozad about four years. She moved with her family to Callaway in 1920, and graduated from Callaway High School with the class of 1929. She taught school for three years in District 3 Delight School west of Callaway. Lucille was united in marriage to Alvis Ridder on June 15, 1932, at Callaway.
