Wilcox, age 94, died Tuesday Jan. 25, 2011 at Heritage Estates in Gering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Fr. Vince Parsons celebrating. Interment will take place on Tuesday at 2 p.m. CDT at St. Mary’s Cemetery near Oconto. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m. at Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. Margaret was born on July 29, 1916 in Miller to Edd and Anna Jones. She graduated from Miller Schools and attended Kearney State College. She received a teaching degree and taught at rural schools near Miller. Margaret was united in marriage to Harold (Mick) Wilcox on Dec. 29, 1936. They moved to Oconto where they farmed for three years. In 1942 the family moved to Idaho and farmed to eight more years. In 1950 they purchased an oil business in Oconto. Margaret is survived by her children, Jacqueline (Gary) Carpenter, Donna (Roger) Klypinger, Daniel (Connie) Wilcox, Michael (Marla) Wilcox; a sister, Shirley Barber; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; son, Gregory; sister, Dorothy Baker; brother, Albert Jones and her parents.
