Dakota City, Neb. Dec 18 -- (Special) Death has claimed two of Dakota county's oldest citizens the present week in the persons of Moses Kreps, who died the 10th inst. at the home of his nephew in Bradyville, Ia. where he was visiting, and Mrs. Anthony J. Myers, at her home six miles southwest of this place. Mr. Kreps came to Dakota county in the fall of 1855, locating near what is now Homer, and had since resided here. He was a wealthy bachelor. Mrs. Myers, formerly Catherine McKinley, was married in 1852, in Lancaster county, Pa., and came to this county with her husband in the spring of 1858. Besides her husband, she leaves nine children, John F.,of Pender, William, Richard and George, of this county, Mrs. Charles Ford, of Homer, Miss Mary of Sioux City, Ia.,Mrs. J. P. Twohig and Mrs. George Geisler, of Sioux, Neb., and Miss Helen of this county.
