The people here were surprised Wednesday morning
to here of the death of Mrs Arthur Smith, who
passed away about 10 o'clock this night previous.
Although she had been ailing for some time, her
death came as a shock to her family and friends.
Mrs. Smith was formerly Miss Katie Rooney, and 
leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn
the death of one so young. Her husband and only
child preceded her to the other shore during the
past year. The funeral was held Thursday at 10
o'clock a.m. and was conducted by the Rev. J. E.
English, interment being in the Hubbard cemetery.

Additional Comments:
This grave is located in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hubbard.
The cemetery name must have changed over the years.
