K. OF P. BALL AND BANQUET

Sparticus Lodge of Lexington Royally Entertains Its Friends

Lexington, Neb. Nov. 27.-- [Special]- Sparticus Lodge 118,
of K. of P., gave a grand ball and banquet in this city
this evening. Large delegations were present from Grand
Island, Kearney, Elwood, Overton, Gothenburg and North
Platte. The attendance was estimated at 200. The banquet
was given in the Cornland hotel, which was beautifully
decorated with evergreens, floral emblems and symbols
of the K. of P. lodge. The ball was held in James' opera
house, which was also very tastefully decorated and
brillianly lighted. Music was furnished by the Midway
orchestra of Kearney and no pains nor expense, has been
spared to make this the most brilliant social event of
the season. Great credit is due the Knights for their
hospitality and enterprise.
