Erika Beatriz Ambriz, 29, of Lexington, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at her 
home in Lexington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at 4:30 p.m. at 
St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Paul Colling officiating. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the 
Rosary and Wake Service   at 6:00 p.m., all at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

It was the wishes of the family for Erika’s body to be cremated following the 
funeral service with her ashes inurned in Guadalajara, Mexico at a later date.

Survivors include her children, Isaac Raymond and Marianna Elizabeth, both at 
home; her parents, Raul and Maria Ambriz of Lexington; three brothers, Raul, 
Jr. (Imelda) Ambriz and Mike Ambriz of Lexington and Jorge Ambriz, Omaha; 
three sisters,  Blanca ( Juan) Jimenez and Maria Ambriz, all of Lexington and  
Carolina (Javier) Pena of Bell Gardens, Calif.

Erika was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She was born Sept. 23, 1978, at Guadalajara, Mexico, to Raul Ambriz and Maria 
Trujillo.

Erika moved with her family to the United States as a young girl, moving to 
Lexington, where she was a graduate of Lexington High School with the class of 
1996.
