Luis Manuel “Wicho” Arredondo, 17, of Overton, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at 
his home south of Overton. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. 
Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jorge Canela officiating 

Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery at Overton. 

Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2011, from 3-7 p.m. at St. Ann’s 
Catholic Church with Rosary to follow at 7 p.m., also at the church. 

Luis was born June 23, 1993, in Indio, Calif., to Ruben and Rosa Maria (Nunez) 
Arredondo. He moved with his family as a small boy to Lexington and then to 
Overton. Luis was a sophomore at Overton High School. 

Survivors include his parents,Ruben Arredondo Diaz of Mexico and Rosa Maria 
Nunez of Grand Island; two brothers, Jaime (Cinthia) Arredondo of 
Kearney,Ruben (Sarah) Arredondo of Bertrand; one sister, Jasmine Arredondo of 
Grand Island and nieces and nephews, Damian Angelo, Ithaly, Kien, Natalie, 
Destiny and Anthony as well as his grandparents. 

Luis was preceded in death by his grandpa and one cousin, Denise.
