Donald Neil Ballheim, age 60, of Elkins, W. Va., died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 
at the Charleston Area Medical Center General Division at Charleston, WV.

Services were held Thursday, Feb. 7 at Lohr and Barb Funeral Home in Elkins 
with the Rev. Mike House officiating. 

Internment followed at Elkins Memorial Gardens. H.W. Daniel’s Post No. 29, 
American Legion and Tygarts Valley Post No. 3647, Veterans of Foreign Wars 
accorded full military honors.

He is survived by his wife; son, Jeremy Christopher Ballheim; daughter, Dawn 
Marie Ballheim, both of Elkins, W. Va.; two brothers, Gary Ballheim and 
companion, Sherry, and Daryl (Linda) Ballheim; one sister, Dorothy (Butch) 
Hagen, all of Lexington; one grandson, Anthonie Neil Ballheim, and several 
nieces and nephews.

He was born, April 12, 1947, at Lexington, to Donald Edwin Ballheim and Minnie 
Estelle (Weatherford) Ballheim. On Nov. 19, 1971 he was married to Deborah 
Nadine Golden.
